[Opinions] Re: Primrose or Princess
Princess is beyond pretentious. Primroses don't grow where I live, so my associations are with 'prim', not a pleasing life sentence, and Rose, which is the most trite of all flower names. There was a terrifying serial killer in the UK, his name escapes me; he was a GP and used to routinely murder his elderly lady patients, who all thought he was wonderful because he did house calls; he would then steal whatever he fancied from their jewellery and take it home to his wife, named Primrose, who wore the pieces without questioning their places of origin.
Need I add that I would use neither? No? I thought not.
