What do you think of Amalthea? I saw it used as a cat's name and found it both charming and regal.

I like it in theory, but I wouldn’t actually use it. Again it makes me think of Last Unicorn.

I don't really like this name. I do like the name Althea, though.

One of my childhood faves, thanks to The Last Unicorn! Very beautiful and fantastical, and easily shortened to Thea, if you need to. A great cat name for sure

I like that but not so much. I associate it heavily with the Jupiter's moon, Amalthea.
