While Hemingway isn't one of my favorite writers, his surname is gorgeous and romantic. I kind of love the idea of a woman named Hemingway (nicknamed Hem!).
I know of a writer couple who named their daughter Lorca and another writer couple who named their son Brecht.
The first such name that comes to mind is Rivette, after the filmmaker Jacques Rivette. I think that would be fun on a girl.
