[Opinions] Fiona
Well, what do you think of the name Fiona? Unfortunately, this name has been associated with a hurricane that hit Caribbean places such as Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico etc.
I really like this name. It sounds beautiful and elegant. I really hope the hurricane did not ruin its reputation...
People really need to stop giving hurricanes human names. Thats all I can say.

I like it and I agree re the hurricane names
I think it's a lovely and unexpected name. It does make me think of Shrek, but that's not a terrible association.
It's my dog's name, so I have affection for it. She was named Fiona by a shelter, but we kept the name because I like Fiona Apple.
I like Fiona. I don't get an "elegant" vibe from it, but it does seem smart.
I kinda think that if Shrek didn't ruin the name Fiona, a hurricane isn't gonna.
I agree with you about giving hurricanes human names. It's especially stupid since it started out that they were only female names - as if to compare storms to women. Giving male names to half of them doesn't magically turn a lame idea into a good one.

I love it and I’d still use it.
If people were to avoid every name that was connected to a storm or hurricane, there’d be no names left.

I've always liked Fiona and will continue to do so, regardless of weather.
