Nameberry are imaginative rather than scholarly.

Sorry, but I wouldn't trust Nameberry at all. They aren't the most reliable source when it comes to many names.

I’m sure meanings are embellished there for readers. It’s interesting, though.

Thank you for posting that. I think this name just sort of materialized from a mosaic of different sources. It feels so organic; it is like meanings coalesce like DNA from multiple parents. Only this meaning seems like it has a seven-parent genome. :)
