Lindy is cute!

I wouldn't use Linda because I know more than 2 Linda's in their 60s and 70s.

Linda is too dated for me to consider using. Lindy makes a cute nickname though. If I had to use one I’d stretch it a bit and use Lucinda with nn Lindy.

If you name someone Lindy, that's all she can be. Name her Linda, and she can be Linda and/or Lindy. Isn't it a no-brainer?

Linda is a genuinely pretty name. Unfortunately, I'd expect her siblings to be Susan and Barbara. I think I could name a child Lyndall, but not Linda or Lindsay or Lyndsey etc. I would also consider Belinda, but I don't really think it's my style.

I like both, but prefer Lindy. I also like Melinda

Not a fan of either of them but I personally like Linda better. No I wouldn't use them.

I prefer Lindy to Linda, but both are nice. Out of everything, I prefer the name Melinda, with the nickname Lindy. But if Linda or Lindy, I prefer Lindy.
