It comes across like Nana does to me because Yaya's a Greek term for grandmother (my sister and brother-in-law use it regularly).
Most repeated syllables as names sound bright and sassy to me though. Like Kiki and Zsazsa.

Right I was recalling it meant grandma in some language.
