[Opinions] Lamb
Wdyt? Is it usable? Lamb

No just no! It would be like naming a child Horse, Pig, Cow, Deer. I don’t like animal names for people including Fawn and Kitty.
If a child was named this, they would be teased INCESSANTLY with the “Song that doesn’t end…and it goes on and on my friends” because of the association with Lamb Chop’s Singalong.
Not a bit. It’d be like naming your kid Chick, Piglet, Kid,Calf,or Foal.
Not usable, but I do like it. Would be cool for a character with heavy symbolism.
No. It's laughable. My main association is Charles Lamb who wrote, among many other things, an essay entitled Imperfect Sympathies, in which he writes of the prejudice verging on disgust he harbours for "Scotchmen, Jews, Negros, and Quakers".

I wouldn't do it.
Maybe a name meaning lamb, like Oona, with Lamb as a nickname?

As a nickname for Lambert perhaps, terrible otherwise. Makes me think of food.
Apart from the cookery associations, and all that happens before that yummy roast appears on the table, it's also a surname. I very much hope it isn't usable, and remains unused.
Terrible, not usuable
The only person I've ever known to be named this was a child (now a grown woman) who was in a Neo-Nazi musical group with her twin sister, Lynx. I've read that they later renounced their parents' views once they were allowed to attend public school, but I don't know what happened to them after that. It's such an unusual name that I can't shake that reference.
Even though lambs are very cute and sweet, there's something sinister about this name to me. Something kind of eerie. Even without the Neo-Nazi connection. Then there's "lamb of god", sacrificial lambs, lamb to the slaughter, Silence of the Lambs..... it's actually a pretty heavy name.

The Neo-Nazi musical group was my first thought too
