My favorite girls' name is Valerie; we named our daughter that.
My favorite boy name is James.
If we discount the name I already used, my favorite girls' name is Brianna.
Fern is all right; but it seems funny to say it's your favorite because you have one in your house. That's about as reasonable as saying you like Refrigerator as a name because you have one. :)
