Avshalom, while not traditionally used since he was a rebellious son, appears as a name for 2 Talmudical sages, and appears as a name that was in rare use during the 17th century in a book on writing names in marriage and divorce documents, and there is a Bukharan-Jewish surname by the name of Avshalomov.
