[Opinions] Re: Have you heard the name Ninabella anywhere? If so, where?
in reply to a message by Ani
I didn't ask if you liked it or not, I just asked if you had heard it anywhere (besides when I post), and if so, where have you heard it. Sorry if that wasn't clear.

I never heard it anywhere and I don’t like it. It’s frilly and over the top. Sounds like a name for a new character in My Little Pony.

I am the same person as the person who posted this topic. Sorry I didn't respond right away; your post made me so angry that for a while I chose not to respond but I wanted to make it right so here you go..
First of all, do you realize that Ninabella isn't just A name, it's MY name, and that post of yours really hurt my feelings? I mean, how would you feel if someone said that "peonini" is stupid and bad and sounds like the name of a weird cartoon character and should not exist? (not that I personally think that, it's just something people have said on this site stuff like that about MY name and it really hurts.)
I mean, yes, I should have posted this on the Facts board instead, if posting it at all (I regret posting this whole topic in the first place) but I have a habit of going on the Opinions board and not the Facts board (Opinions interest me more than facts) and so I must've automatically clicked on "Opinions" to post this topic, because I was wondering (since Ninabella is such a unique name) if people had heard it before anywhere, not whether they liked it or not (even though this was on Opinions and not Facts).
Secondly, My Little Pony? Seriously? I mean, they have names like Rainbow Dash and Twighlight Sparkle and Rarity, and those are all word names? I mean, yes, I just now googled "My little pony character names" and they do have some names similar to Ninabella, but most of them have word names that are either compound or double, and does "Ninabella" sound like a word to you? No? Exactly! Ninabella combines Nina and Isabella, and it was a nickname I gave myself and now everyone calls me that because "it's so cool". (I gave myself the nickname because my name is Nina and I personally don't like that name and so I added a bella to it [because I like the name Isabella] to make it sound better.]
And "over the top"? Seriously? All it is is a name that combines Nina and Isabella, and the "nina" part is supposed to make it sound LESS frilly and over the top, since Nina itself is not associated with being frilly.

Girl, I really hope you have not been stewing over this for the past 2 months. You asked for "thoughts" in the body of the post. I addressed both questions. Peonini is not my real name, it’s just a screen name I haphazardly pulled together and I have no real connection to it. My real name, however, has been asked about several times on the board. Some people love it some people hate it. I’m sure most people have seen negative comments about their names here.I find Ninabella silly and frilly. You can’t try to explain away the frilliness, as that’s just how I feel about it.My opinion is my opinion and isn’t going to change. I was not harsh. Please move on!
