I like Heather.

Always kinda liked it, cannot decide if its just a bit dusty or not, but it's sweet regardless.

It sounds pretty ugly to me, though I like the botanical association.

I think it's a pretty name, though I don't like it enough to want it for myself or to use it. It definitely was a flash in the pan, as names go. It was very popular for a relatively short time and then fell off fast.

I've always liked Heather, though it seems seriously dated and I think the youngest Heather I've met must be in her 60s. I remember as a little kid thinking that Erica and Heather would be clever names for twins! Now, I quite like Heather Jocelyn. IRL, I'd enjoy Alice Emily Heather.

For heather related names I prefer Erica.
Heather feels dated, but not in a vintage way. Maybe we'll see it come back around in a couple of decades?
