I really like Crystal/Krystal; it's so bright and sparkly. Also a favorite cousin of mine is Crystal.
I like Larry too; all the ones I've known, including my stepfather, have been very decent, kind, down-to-earth guys.

Don't like either name and they don't really go together
At first glance they are a bit of an odd couple, but Crystal is not as one dimensional as it might seem... I recall that it was used as a name in a movie from the 1930s (The Women, with Crystal played by Joan Crawford). So if I try to see Crystal as more vintage than usual, Larry fits right in with that.
I kinda like the quirkiness of these two together, actually. It's growing on me.

I wouldn't have paired them together, personally
Crystal and Wade; Brock; Octavio; Reed; Skylar etc (found in 1982 data where Crystal was at #9)
Larry and Sandra; Ruth; Doris; Wanda; Patsy etc (found in 1947 data where Larry was at #10)
Edit: My boyfriend said that he thinks Crystal as a stripper name ("I know you don't" he quickly interjected to me - because I see it more as a hippie name) and the only Larry he knows of is Leisure Suit Larry. He said these names are "not off to a good start"

That is hilarious what your bf said!
They're not amazing, but I don't dislike them.
