If only she'd gone on to read the entire story ... ! Then again, they had a good relationship. Better that than having boy-girl twins and naming them Rhett and Scarlett, or even Ashley and Melanie.
Another problem could be nns. Patroclus = Pat is fine; Achilles = Kill, not so much.
