Help[Opinions] Nickname for Svea?
We just named our baby Svea and weren't planning on using a nickname but just realized that someone close to us has a speech impediment that we weren't aware of and really struggled to pronounce the "sv" sound. (In my immediate family, we speak a language that used "sv" all the time, so I didn't realize how hard it can be for English speakers.) Can anyone suggest some nicknames that might be easier to pronounce? Thanks in advance!

I also have a Svea and have been surprised how many people struggle to pronounce it. I think it is a beautiful name though! I have another kid who mispronounced it is “Faya” and I’ve noticed a lot of people say s-fay-a, with more of an “f” than a “v” sound. I hope to use the full name Svea but I think Fay (or Faye or Fae) could work as an easy to pronounce nickname if needed. I’d be curious to hear if you settled on a good nickname!
