Perseverance is my mom's trail name (aka wordy nickname; they're a thing in hiker culture - mine is Mosey).
It's ok. It kind of sounds like Persephone, Terrance, Stevie, Vera, Prudence, Severine to me, which is an interesting combo of vibes: strict, geeky, quaint, resourceful, enterprising? Something like that. It's not a name I'd consider for real because I don't like the Persev sound much, but I do think it's usable for other people.
Some virtue type names I feel mostly positive towards right now: Honesty, Ruth, Devotion, Patience, Honor, Knowledge, Harmony, Epiphany, Loveday, Prosper, Promise, Temperance, Hope, Mercy, Sincerity, Earnest.
