Love it that it's beautiful and nice.

Beautiful and classic. Reminds me of Louisa May Alcott.

I love the name Louisa, with its vintage charm and elegance!

I love Louisa, and it was in my top 3 names to use if we'd had a girl. Sadly, no girls, but I still love it. I would have pushed for Louisa Josephine.

I always thought Louisa was adorably, quintessentially English-y and old fashioned in a "plucky novel heroine" sort of way. Emma and Alice used to have the same sort of feeling to them, until they started popping up more frequently. But Louisa remains unused where I live, so it still feels like a rare antique find. I like Eloise a lot too, it's so lyrical. But Louisa is great. Louisa is a bit sturdier than Eloise.

I prefer it to Louise, but don't like it as much as Eloise. I've gone through stages with Louisa, from liking it a lot as a small child (one of my oldest dolls is named Louisa), to going off it later and disliking the clunkiness of Louise + -a. But I've warmed up to it again recently, perhaps aided by my realization that it was a common Regency-era name for girls, which is one of my favorite historical periods and made me think of it as elegant and classic again.

It's gorgeous and very literary.

I really like it. I had a little girl in my class a couple years ago named Louisa.
