I think it's very cool, honestly. :) I think of Dave Matthews' character in Because of Winn-Dixie before anything else. (Which is weird, because I saw it on the plane back from Germany last summer and kind of half-watched it. But the image of him sitting in the pet store stuck with me.) After him, I think of Milo and Otis--and who doesn't love that movie?--and then of Otis Redding (and who doesn't love Otis Redding?). And then I think of Otis-and-Faye, who were/are (Otis died recently) friends of my grandparents. :)It's a name that could totally fit in today; there's something intensely cool about it to me. It's like Otis is just inherently jazzy to me, for whatever reason. Too bad his wife dislikes it.Array
