[Opinions] Fawn for a boy
What do you think of Fawn on a boy? I was thinking for a dog but curious about how/if anyone would use it on a human.

The word itself with that ambiguous "aw" sound is too awkward to be a name for a human or a dog IMO. I could sort of see it on a kitten but not even a full-grown cat. The only other time I've seen a baby animal used as a name is "Colt", and that only works because it's associated with surname-names like Colter and Colton. I think it's fine for animals to be named after other kinds of animals (a human named Robin, a cat named Fox, a dog named Falcon, etc.) but it would be weird to be an adult of any species named after a kind of baby.
Fawn is a trauma response so I can’t see it as a name (human or animal)
I would not use Fawn on a person, but definitely not a boy. It is too soft - almost fragile. I just picture a baby deer that is helpless.
Nasty regardless of gender or species. Fawning is not a behaviour I'd like to be associated with.
In a fantasy novel it's ok, in an urban public school, bad idea.
Don't like it for human or dog
I wouldn’t use it but it isn’t too bad…maybe a mn?
I would like it a lot on a male character.
