[Opinions] Crow
What do you think of Crow as a middle name for a boy? While I'm not a particularly big fan of Raven, the sound of Crow appeals to me--as does the image of the bird. (They've always been one of my favourite species of birds, along with--among others--red-winged blackbirds. And Blackbird seems less workable than Crow.)
So, thoughts? :) It's one that I'd probably save as an emergency name--what if my husband has extremely dull tastes in names, you know? So I'd end up with a son named something like Michael Crow. (Don't worry, I'd know better than to ever use James Crow!) I have to admit that I'm rather liking Harold Crow, Bartholomew Crow, and Lazarus Crow (but that might feel a tad too themey, lol). And, in a never-but-in-my-wildest-dreams, Crow Jerome.
Array (yes, might've seen Brandon Lee's last movie recently--please don't mock her too hard :D)
Mick Jagger is older than:
1. Velcro
2. Cake mix
3. Israel
A revolution without dancing is a revolution not worth having.

I think I have unusually strong associations with crows, but I thought I'd let you know anyway. I hope I don't come across nutty as a fruitcake.
I really dislike crows. In fact even thinking of them makes me shiver. My grandmother had a long and difficult final illness and her medication caused her to hallucinate. She told me she saw crows and it always made her very agitated. The images she saw were pretty gory, crows pecking the eyes out of corpses and so forth. It absolutely terrified me.
Whenever I see crows I have to cross myself. Even black feathers scare the daylights out of me! I associate crows with death and think they are very bad luck...but if you like the name and it has good associations for you, it is fine.

Yay you watched The Crow! Did you like it?
I actually really like Crow as a name, either as a first name or a middle name.
Hehe, Michael Crow is amusing to me because the sequel to The Crow originally had the characters name as Michael but when it came out they had changed it to Ashe : )
Hmm, how about Lorenz Crow?

I loved it. And not just because Eric Draven bore a significant resemblance (in my mind) to Edward Scissorhands. It's a really fun movie--I'm planning on buying it in the near future (or else making someone else buy it for me, haha).
Lorenz Crow appeals to me a lot--I didn't think of it! :)

YAY! I've created a Crow fan! I'm so happy, haha : )
Hmm.
Well, I'm a supporter of bird-names in general (Robin Wren Raven Lark), and I don't think it's bad-sounding, as a middle name (I like Bartholomew Crow a lot). But I just don't like crows.
When I was in elementary school, these huge crows lived in and around the dumpster. I mean huge, like two feet tall, the size of small dogs. They were really terrifying. So that's my association. :/

I love the name Crow. (I love the name Russel Crow but that's already taken) Crow sounds so nice I think. I'd use it if I were you with a really manly name.
It's too "out there" for me. I don't like crow's anyways.
