I prefer twin names that aren't an alliteration set (although some of them can certainly work) and names that don't usually rhyme. My late mother was a twin, my direct aunt, and their names, I kid you not, were
Molly &
Polly. (
Polly was my mother)
I'm accustomed to seeing the names together as I grew up with them, so it's perhaps not so unusual for me, but it's also not something I can ever see myself doing if I were to ever have twins, which I doubt. I'd never give them extremely matchy names like
Saige &
Paige or
Brady &
Grady. Lol!
There's a set of twins in a series that I wrote (a collection of 3 currently unpublished novels,) that I named
Ava &
Zoe and I absolutely love them! I love how well they go together, but aren't overly matchy. I love their 3 letters 2 syllable similarity.
I'll post some others later on if they come to mind.
