Blythe is interesting to me as a middle name. I like it with Rosemarie but prefer Rosemarie Blythe.
I'm not into it as a first name but it would be interesting to see. I'd expect a Blythe to be old and British.
Bly just sounds like a weird onomotapoea, like bleah or blarg.
