[Opinions] Thoughts on the name Kylie?
I have a mixed-feeling about this name

It's really horrible. Squeaky and sugary.
It's fine but I agree with the comments saying it sounds juvenile. I'd always picture a Kylie being between the ages of 15 and 29.
It was a top 20 name in Australia for approximately 10 years either side of my birth year, so I grew up with lots of girls named Kylie. The singer isn’t even the first Australian named Kylie that springs to mind.
I quite like it, but I like a lot of Indigenous names.

Dated and perpetually juvenile.
I wouldn’t pick it, but I find it pretty.
I worked with a Kylie and your description fits her.
I could maybe get used to the sound, but it sounds a little whiny and juvenile. I don't despise it, but it's not the best.

Not my thing.
Yuck, yuck, yuck.
It's flimsy, cutesy, and trendy.
It’s one of my guilty pleasures.
Same here.
I never liked it. It always sounded like a cutesy nn for Kyle, a name I never liked for boys. I don't like Kaylee either.
It's ok
A one-owner name, perhaps useable by a fan. Rhymes discouragingly with Smiley and Wily.
Depending on your age, you associate this name either with Minogue or Jenner. I found this out the hard way when talking to teenage students referencing Minogue and they were VERY confused when I said she was Australian!
I think Kylie is very youthful and a fun celebrity name but I wouldn't use it on a child, but at the same time I wouldn't be surprised to see it on a young baby given the huge fan base both women have.
