When she first came to England, Zahra al Su'ud was largely apolitical. She did not understanding her brother's fervour for the national cause. That is, until she met Miss _______ _______ at a literary salon.

Exposition to _______ 's nationalist and suffragist thought made Zahra more sympathetic to her brother's aspirations, and under _______ 's persuasion, she recommended correspondence with her brother, finding, to her surprise, that they agreed on many issues.
_______ is not the kind of woman who is usually invited to The Nightingale's Nest, but when Zahra asked if she could bring a female friend to the gathering, Lord and Lady Hastings readily acquiesced, thinking it must be difficult for a young woman in a foreign land to travel alone.
They were rather taken aback when Miss _______ , their guest, not only stayed with the men after dinner to smoke and play cards, after the other ladies retired following the shocking revelation of Lord August's past as an opium merchant, but that, during the preceding hunt, she rode in breeches.
Miss _______ _______ is a persuasive conversationist with a habit of asking questions her opponents - for she has a habit of treating every conversation as a debate - find considerable difficulty answering. I wonder if, over a game of cards with gentlemen too baffled to refuse her, she asked some pointed questions too...
