It was a lot of fun to see what people thought about the Akkadian and Sumerian names, so I thought I'd make another post focusing on two other pantheons I find really interesting, the Ugaritic pantheon and the Canaanite pantheons. This time I added the roles these deities occupy in their respective mythologies as a fun little extra.
Atargatis (Syrian goddess of fertility, also seen as chief of the gods, worshipped during Classical Antiquity)
Ashima (Canaanite goddess of fate)
Kinnaru (Ugaritic god, thought to be a personification of the lyre)
Tallay (Ugaritic weather goddess)
Yarikh (Moon god worshipped as a part of the Amorite and Ugaritic pantheons)
Resheph (Canaanite god of plague, the underworld, and war)
