[Opinions] Claudia vs Olivia
Hi, I'm having a hard time deciding between these two names. I like Olivia but it's very popular but at the same time it doesn't bother me to the point where I wouldn't use it. As for Claudia, I like that it's similar to Olivia but not as common but it's not as well-liked by people. What do you think? And also, what are some good middle names for each? Thank you.

Olivia needs a rest for sure. Claudia is my pick
I choose Claudia, because it's classy, uncommon yet familiar, and a highly underused name in my opinion! Olivia is also nice, don't get me wrong, but Claudia would stand out (in the sea of Olivia's).Claudia Abigail
Claudia Roxanne
Claudia Suzanne / Claudia Susan
Claudia Estelle
Claudia Janet
Claudia Mavis
Claudia Jasmine
Claudia Janelle
Claudia Heather
Claudia Shannon
Claudia Anne
I think Claudia is liked and respected enough. I personally enjoy it.
I love Claudia. Olivia is pretty but it's not very interesting to me. Claudia feels regal and unexpected, though it's familiar. I agree with Diana, it's a very strong name. Olivia is feeling pretty limp. For middle name ideas, I actually like Claudia Lori a lot. Lori is my mom's name and I find it's darn near impossible to combo, but Claudia Lori seems to work well for me. Claudia Laurie would be nice too, although the repeated au-au kinda irks me. Claudia Lorraine would also be really nice. Other ideas:Claudia Violet
Claudia Gwen
Claudia Marianne
Claudia Rosalie
Claudia Maeve
Claudia Lillian
Claudia Melanie
Claudia Juliette
I prefer claudia. It's less popular and has a classy but strong vibe.

To me Claudia feels more substantial; intelligent. Olivia, while pretty, tends to feel air-headed.
Personally I am not a fan of Claudia. I'm not a lover of Olivia but it is a pretty name and I see why it is popular. You could pick a name that isn't popular and it may be number one next year you just never know. I wouldn't let popularity stop you. If you love Claudia just as much I personally would use a less common name but that is just me.
I think Claudia is quit harsh, especially in comparison to the soft spoken , feminine Olivia. If you are looking for an alternative I suggest Ophelia, Vivian, Eloisa and Liviana. Olivia Amabel
