[Facts] Re: Question Regarding Name: Lueoina
If the individual you are talking about was from Shelby County, then I found the original record which has the name "Lueoina". In the original record here: https://www.ancestry.ca/search/collections/7163/records/12422403 (click on image and see row 29) the name appears to actually be written as "Luoisa", probably a misspelling of Louisa. This was likely then transcribed by either a computer or a volunteer or record keeper who was unfamiliar with cursive writing. This appears to have been propagated and further confounded by a user on FamilySearch. Although the Find a Grave link on FamilySearch was broken, I was able to find a grave under the exact same title here: https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/38473056/infant-twins-deshazo. In the source, the deceased infants are actually unnamed as was common those days due to high child mortality. The "Lueoina DeShazo" you mentioned is likely the same person as Louisa Drucilla "Lula" Lee, née DeShazo (I couldn't find a source for her middle name, but the initial is "D"). Here are the other records I saw:
- (census record 1870) https://www.ancestry.ca/search/collections/7163/records/12422403
- (marriage record 1883) https://www.ancestry.ca/search/collections/61365/records/901952802
- (grave 1900) https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/38472956
