[Opinions] Holly and Maya
Thoughts on these two? Separately or together

I want to like Holly, but I can’t stand it. Maya is okay.
Holly is a name I like a lot in theory but find underwhelming in real life. On paper it's so sweet and pert and retro. It's shiny and cute, without being fluffy at all. It's like Natalie or Leslie or Dana, it has a built-in sense of responsibility. Holly is like the cute class president.
Maya feels much more modern than Holly, it doesn't really "go" with it. Maya is sultry, languid, and vaguely tropical and exotic. Holly is just the babysitter next door, I'd feel kinda bad for her if she had a sister named Maya. Holly got the short end of the stick.
Holly and Mia would work, they have a kind of tidy mod squad thing happening. Holly and May would work too, they are kitschy retro together. Like you can just tell one was born in winter and the other in spring!

I don’t think they work together at all. Holly’s a smiling breeze, whereas Maya evokes ancient civilizations and goddesses.
I dislike both names. I’d opt for Helen and May individually and as a pair.

These two have a very pleasing sound to me. Both sweet and beautiful, yet simple names. I especially like Maya. I think they go quite nicely together.
I like them both, though not really as a sibset. They just have too different vibes.
Both are solid names, but I feel like they have different vibes. I prefer Maya over Holly.
I can't warm up to Holly at all, and I've heard Maya pronounced MYa and MAYa: who needs a lifetime of confusion?
