Hovik and Olesya met at Queen Mary University of London during their first year. Hovik studied Biomedical Engineering whereas Olesya studied Zoology but met in an elective film studies class. They bonded over their love of cinema and went from friendship to dating during their second year at University. After they graduated, they traveled to their respective home countries together, Armenia and Ukraine to meet each other’s families and friends before settling back in London. They got married a year ago and recently welcomed their first child a son.
His FN is Ukrainian with a diminutive (nickname) and his MN is Armenian.

At first, they weren’t sure if it was a good match but with time and slowly adding playdates with their children, their love grew. With Ernest’s daughters as junior bridesmaids and Cecelia’s son’s as junior groomsmen, they got married and recently welcomed a son.

She recently welcoming their son and has been enjoying time home with him.
