Thank you for all replies last round, so many great ideas. 3 years have passed for all families.
The Mikkelsen family

Jannik and Chae-Won welcomed their first child, a son, two years ago. Following his birth Chae-Won left her corporate job and is now a stay-at-home mom and occasional jewellery maker. She picked this hobby while pregnant and with their firstborn being a breeze while he was a baby, she had more time to learn and explore different techniques and materials. The little boy certainly made up for his calmness once he started walking or more like constantly running and “no” became his favourite word and the jewellery making had to go on side track for the time being, but she hopes to pick it up again one day. Despite first hand experience with terrible two’s Jannik and Chae-Won did not give up and are expecting another baby, their second son as they recently learned, is due in five months.
Their older son has a Korean first name that consists of two syllables. His middle name honours his paternal grandfather Holger Lars.
Their younger son has a short international first name. His middle name is Korean and starts with the syllable Min in honour of his maternal grandfather.

The Blackwood family

Francis and Maryam welcomed a daughter sixteen months ago, during a very turbulent time for the family. While Vivienne was initially excited about a new sibling, once it was clear that the baby was going to be a girl her demeanour changed and she pretty much refused any communication with her father and his wife. As the days were passing by and Vivienne was clearly unhappy around her father and new wife, Francis and her mom made the decision that she would live full time with her mom while they will figure out what was going on. As it turned out in therapy it was another attempt from his mother to take care of the problem, he made for himself twelve years ago, with the baby being a girl she planted into Vivienne’s head that her father will no longer need her in his life as he will have a new daughter born into a marriage just as every child should be. Once Francis found out he was furious with his mother and forbade her any contact with his family, this escalated further with his father and siblings and his father gave him an ultimatum to either make peace with his mother or leave the family law firm. It was and easy choice to make and Francis joint forces with an old Oxfordian friend and now they run a law firm together under their names, but more importantly he has two happy daughters who despite the age difference adore each other.
Their daughter’s first name comes from Greek mythology. Her first middle name is Arabic and starts with I. Her second middle name is a pretty French name.

Fede and Sam are expecting their first baby, a little girl who is due any day now. The road to parenthood has not been easy for them and it took them nearly two years to conceive. While waiting for their miracle to happen they have been busy with their careers as well, Fede now has four pair teams in his group and recently moved his group to a rink with better infrastructure and joined forces with a conditioning coach and nutritionist. Sam has been busy with the costume orders as the number of clients keeps growing season after season and at the last World Championships whopping ten athletes were dressed in her creations.
Their daughter’s first name ranked in top 20 in Italy in 2015 (https://www.behindthename.com/top/lists/italy/2015). Her middle name is an English nature related name.
