[Opinions] Lottie
WDYT of Lottie? Short for Charlotte.

Charlotte is so overwhelmingly common that honestly, Lottie is a good idea.
I'm Scarlett, and I wouldn't mind being called this.
Scarlett is a pretty name too!
Thank you 🩵
Too cutesy— even as a nickname for Charlotte. I prefer Charlie as a nickname.
Charlie is a great idea!!
It's not too bad as a nickname, but it feels a bit childish and spoiled.I prefer Lettie in terms of sound, and Char as a nn for Charlotte.
“Little Lottie, let her mind wander. Little Lottie thought, am I fonder of dolls or of goblins or of shoes?” I love this as a nn for Charlotte. I always wanted to have a daughter with that name and then sing that little song to her from Phantom of the Opera.
I don't find it to be cute, and yet I think it sounds too cutesy to be a full name. Charlotte is great without a nickname, but I would prefer Charlie in spite of it not seeming feminine IMO.
I'm definitely the outlier not liking Charlie for Charlotte, for the exact opposite reason — I much prefer overtly feminine to more tomboyish/masc nicknames.(:
I love Charlotte but not a fan of Lottie. My 2yo niece is a Charlotte and we call her Charlie, which I find very cute.
It's cute enough. I'm not fond of Charlotte, though.
It's very sweet! I prefer it as a nickname for Carlotta.
I love Lottie in theory. I love the way it looks. One of my great great grandmothers was called Lottie - not Charlotte, just Lottie - so I like that I have a connection to it.But Lottie sounds awful in my accent. "Loddy". I'm not keen on that.

Not my favorite. I know a dog named Lottie though.
The only people who have actually used the name Lottie that I've ever known would be well over a hundred years old at this point.Bluntly, I don't care for it. Charlotte is fine, if wildly overused, but Lottie sounds silly.
I dislike Charlotte, but I dislike Lottie much more.
I think it's sweet and pretty. I've seen it used as a given name, but I prefer it as a nn.
