Help[Opinions] Valeri for a boy?
Though it is feminine in the USA, it is masculine in slavic countries. I really like it and have sort of discussed it before. What are your thoughts?

I think it could work! I wouldn't worry about what the USA norm is. We're very open to new names around here.
In the USA this name is nearly 100% feminine. I recognize it as masculine since I am familiar with Slavic names.
It’s the same with Nikita. I knew a girl named Nikita. Her parents named her that for the 1980s Elton John song. In English speaking countries it is a girls name even though in Slavic countries it’s masculine.

Are you in the USA or a Slavic country? If in the US, depending on how cosmopolitan the area you live in is, you might be able to pull it off, but I'd suggest using the traditional Slavic spelling. If you live in a more traditional area, I'd recommend something like Valentin, or maybe Valor if you're open to a virtue name.
I prefer Valeriy for a boy.
From a US perspective — the spelling looks ultra feminine. I don't think it works outside its demographic. I much prefer Valentin
