Jannik and Chae-Won stayed true to their agreement and Iseul remained their last baby. Nevertheless, they welcomed a new member into their family two years ago, Jannik’s oldest niece. Initially they agreed to house her during her exchange semester of high school in Korea, and as it sometimes happens, she fell in love with the country and after graduating high school in Denmark was accepted to study Korean language at Busan National University. In other news Ji-su started middle school this year which is mind-blowing to his parents as he was just a baby, like a day ago. He is an average student, but an excellent baseball player, his coach is sure that there is bright future in front of him. Axel is the complete opposite of his brother and excels at academics, his favourite subject is math and he shows great interest in engineering, just as his father. Iseul is just a ball of energy, which can be both good and bad, and already got her trouble in school multiple times. Jannik and Chae-Won signed her up for athletics and gymnastics and she enjoys both tremendously.

Francis and Maryam will celebrate their fifteenth wedding anniversary next year and Francis is already planning a month-long sailing trip through the Mediterranean just for the two of them. Now when his law firm is well established, he could afford to cut his hours and spend more time with his wife and daughters, Maryam made a significant change as well when she left Sotheby’s three years ago after the birth of the couple’s youngest daughter and picked up a job at British museum, she enjoys her new job tremendously. Vivienne has one more year of school left before she will qualify as solicitor, her resolution about remaining single and concentrating on school cracked some two years ago, when she fell in love with the oldest son of her father’s business partner. They have moved in together last spring and are even casually talking about engagement. Thalassa will be starting boarding school in fall, a decision that did not come lightly especially for Maryam, but in addition to stellar academics the school has an excellent equestrian program and Thalassa is ecstatic to be around horses all day, every day, plus it is just an hour car ride away from home. Cordelia is in second grade and still enjoys music, she started to play piano at four and took up violin a year ago, she also enjoys learning languages and in addition to English and French that are both spoken in their household, picked up Arabic and Spanish. Just before Vittoria started school three years ago, Fede and Sam were contemplating a move to the USA. At that time Fede had an offer from a well-known ring to build a pairs training group there, while the offer was tempting, he would most likely lose a couple of his students along the way due to their inability to fund the move to the USA and that was a big constrain for him. Another big constrain was that they would be left with no family support with three little kids and Sam would most likely have to downsize her designer business. In the end they decided to stay in Italy and have not regretted their decision. Vittoria has been on the ice pretty much from day one of her life and has started taking figure skating classes at age of five after begging her parents for at least a year, while they support her every step of the way they want her to do well academically as well. Francesco has never shown much interest in sports and has instead shown great interest in cooking, at age seven he is already able to cook a dinner for the whole family which comes in handy sometimes. Edo enjoys dinosaurs and soccer, not necessarily together, he has also taken skating lessons during the winter and is begging his parents to put him into the hockey classes. The family has also welcomed two new members two years ago, girl and boy twins. Despite being twins the two of them couldn’t be more different and could be having a bloody fight over a piece of carton one second and being the best buds the next one.
