Just beneath the "reply" box, above the post/preview/help/cancel buttons, there is a little box you can click that says "create links from capitalized names..." Check this box to auto-link names.

thank you. I do get the option for this box sometimes (for example right now) but often times, like whenever I replied then, it was not an option. What should I do to link it whenever it does not appear? Because for me it seems to be about a 50/50 chance.
