I like it. It's my uncle's name. My cousin (his daughter) named her son after him: Theodore Rex, and his nn is T-Rex lol He also gets called by his full name a lot. It's very cute, imo
Her dad is like an Ozarks version of Boomhauer from King of the Hill lol so I associate the name with guys like him, cause there's a couple Rex's down here (went through some regional popularity I guess). I also, funnily, associate the name with like 50s/60s style noir P.I.s. He could've been another cop in L.A. Confidential.
And, of course, Rex Manning.
