Some ideas from the past several "versions" of me lmao:
Childhood me would have dreamed about
-cathedral length trains and veils
-full coverage over the bust, appropriate for a church wedding
-interesting sleeves that are the focal point
High school me would have dreamed about
-something Broadway musical themed (take that how you will lmao)
-A-line silhouettes or empire waist
-simple, no lace, no real embellishments (according to my old Pinterest board :P)
College me would have dreamed about
-tea length, full skirts
-a touch of color somewhere
-lots of lace
Current me (out and proud queer, nonbinary adult!) would dream about
-something that mixes both masculine qualities and feminine qualities (think pants with a long overskirt/peplum or a skirt with a tuxedo type top/jacket)
-not white, something colorful and whimsical (rainbow would be welcomed :P)
-sheer inserts for a bit of a sexy vibe as a rebellion against my tight-laced childhood
Some other ideas from friends/family:
I know for my mom's second wedding, she would have preferred
-beach wedding, maybe even a winter beach wedding
-maybe something cream/off white
-something modern but more mature because she was in her 50s
For an extra challenge, something my roommate would like for
-wheelchair friendly! (usually that means shorter length, tighter/short sleeves so they don't get caught in the wheels, etc.)
-modest but maybe with a hint of sexiness
-definitely a classic feel
Other ideas:
Trans woman and wife getting remarried as trans woman's true self
-something with a subtle trans pride flag worked in (baby blue and pink in addition to the white)
-something to show off her new figure
-definitely modern feel
A truly plus size/fat woman (think size 22+) who's learned to love every aspect of her body
-silhouettes and cuts that show off all of the curves and fat on her body (mermaid silhouettes, low cut necklines, etc.)
-sequins or similar eye catching details
-modern, trendy, definitely with a sexualized aspect
Maybe a Vegas wedding?
-short skirt/almost minilength
-going all out with the sparkles and
-fun sleeves
Full cottagecore could be really fun too
-definitely a classic/traditional feel
-lacey details
-maybe pastel colors rather than white
-super delicate, flouncy sleeves
Maybe an older, mature couple (like 70s/80s), first wedding for both
-modern feel to help her feel young again
-bright white because it's tradition and her childhood dream
-something with a matching shrug/jacket so she can choose if she wants to wear it or show off her arms
