Congratulations to Elise, Brandon, Summer, Travis and Poppy!
We have found you five children.
Abena Oni, Esi Abimbola, Imani Chika, and Nia Ife are three-year-old quadruplets from Africa. Because they are quadruplets, their mother received poor prenatal care, and they had poor nutrition after birth, all four are malnourished and small. They will need special care and may even need to be hospitalized for a short while. In spite of that, they are adorable and playful, and seem to be very excited about being adopted. Abena, Esi and Imani were all hospitalized, Abena for 3 days longer, as soon as they got here as they had to travel a long way, Nia was fine! They are really quite small compared to Travis, even Poppy seems to be catching Abena up. We have a trampoline outside and Imani and Nia play on that alot together. Kofi seems to like playing games with Summer and has adapted well to helping with Abena, Esi, Imani, Nia, Travis and Poppy. He likes to feed Poppy with her bottle and reads her a story with Summer every night.

Anastasia Elisavet, Elias Theodoros, and Sophia Kiriaki are six-year-old triplets from Greece. They are all in excellent health and are lively and happy. Anastasia loves to draw and will produce picture after gorgeous picture to hang on the fridge. Elias is happiest kicking around a soccer ball outside, while Sophia will happily join in either of those activities. They are all immensely excited about going to a new home and having older brothers, a little sister, and even a sister their own age!
Peter Nathaniel is ten years old from England. He is quite shy at first, but when he feels comfortable in a new setting he is outgoing and bubbly. He loves both to read and play sports and is very open to trying new activities.
Lila Noelle is seven years old from Australia. She is a happy and agreeable child with a big heart. She loves to read and would spend all day in the library if she could. She also loves school and is very smart. She is thrilled to be going to a famiiy with other children to play with, and is equally excited to have older and younger siblings.

Naomi, Lily and Audrey are very shy, while Charlotte is outgoing and friendly. All are healthy and strong. Naomi, Audrey and Lily adore to be read to, while Charlotte has no patience for that. She prefers to run (well, toddle, really) around and play outside. All the girls, however, love to draw and color.

They love to read and draw, but also love to be outside and run around. Both are very healthy and happy, and are looking foward to having two little sisters! Mira Anjali is six months old from India. English is the official language of India and what she was spoken to in the orphanage. She is very affectionate and loves to be held. Anna Carolien "Anneke" is eight years old from Flanders. She is healthy, sweet and friendly. She adores to read and play board games, and speaks English quite well. She is ecstatic about having a big brother and a big sister, and will surely idolize them. She has one hampster named Livia.
Zora Elena and Liljana Katerina are nine-year-old twins from Macedonia. Both girls have autism. Zora is mildly affected and Liljana is severly affected. Zora talks and communicates but is not affectionate and does not like physical contact. Liljana does not speak or communicate in any way and will generally not make eye contact. Routine is extremely important to both girls. Zora can sometimes communicate with her sister and relay the information to you, which is extremely helpful.
Luca Matteo and Alessandra Sofia "Alessa" are siblings from Italy. Luca is nine and Alessandra is two. Luca has mild ADHD and will need therapy and possibly medication. He is sweet and loving, however, and really tries to overcome his disorder. He loves to play outside and will spend hours in the garden or yard. He can't wait to have older siblings. Alessa is an irresistable child. She is adorable and very affectionate and adores to be held and cuddled. She can be a little stubborn like all two-year-olds, though. She loves books and will "read" them to you by showing you the pictures and describing them in her own words.

Congratulations to Lana, Isaiah and Saul!
We have found you six children.
Caoimhe Siobhan is ten years old from Ireland. She has Down Syndrome, and is mildly retarded. She will need to be sent to a special school to be able to learn and develop. In spite of her disablity, she is very kind and loving and adores to draw. She is very excited about having a brother her age to play with.
Yekaterina Aleksandra "Katya" is eleven years old from Russia. She was previously adopted by an abusive family, and was returned to the orphanage fairly recently. Understandably, she is very skittish and afraid of new people. It will take patience and gentleness to reach Katya, and convince her that she is safe again, which may be further complicated by the language barrier. She enjoys reading and listening to music.
Sofia Linnea "Sofie" is eleven years old from the Netherlands. She has generalized anxiety disorder which has not been able to be controlled at the orphanage, so she will need evaluation ASAP. She is jumpy and nervous and afraid to go to her new home, so she will need love and care to help her settle in. Sofie has a kitten named Alexandra whom she adores.
Aidan Callum is ten years old from Ireland. He knows Caoimhe from the same orphanage and they are good friends. He is very protective of her and is a great help in her care. He is in excellent health and is a strong, hardy boy. He enjoys sports and being outside, and will want to join at least one sports team in his new home. He is extremely smart, and adores school.

Wow, we are so happy with the children we have adopted, they have all settled in very nicely. Adrien immediately fell in love with our, well really my husband's, huge library/study and started spending lots of time just randomly plucking a book off the shelf and reading it. I was not quite sure how to get him out of that room but when my husband came home from work that evening and I told him he went to the library and spent some time inside. I was mildly concerned but desperately busy with my other little charges, however I did notice when they came out of the library later both were smiling.
Sofia and Alexandre hit off very well, both being active children who loved to play outside, before too long they asked if they could go out and play. I agreed but told them not to get dirter as dinner was almost ready.

Aubrey Jonas and Marcus Henry are ten-year-old fraternal twins from England. They are polar opposites of each other! Aubrey is gentle and quiet and enjoys reading and schoolwork. He sometimes needs encouragement to stick up for himself in difficult situations. Marcus, on the other hand, is rough-and-tumble rowdy. He sometimes is too rough with Aubrey without meaning to, so will need reminding to be gentler. However, the boys adore each other despite their differences and will want to share a room. They have one beloved turtle, named Rocky, whom they will want in their room with them.
Ian Douglas and Alastair Bruce are five-year-old identical twins from Scotland. They hate dressing identically, though, so will be easy to tell apart. Both boys adore soccer and hockey, and will want to join a kindergarten league. The also love reading, however, and will want many interesting books about trucks and animals to look at. Ian loves to be read to but has a slight reading delay, so he will need special attention, and, if the problem is not resolved by the time he starts first grade, he may need a special tutor.
Hadrian Isaac and Luca Benjamin are six-month-old twins from England. They are both lively, strong and healthy, with strong sets of lungs! They are very active babies, and need lots of stimulation to be kept happy. Both babies love mobiles and board books, and will readily settle down to hear a story.

We were all thrilled to welcome our five new children into the family.
Abena is enrolled in preschool and has been described by her teachers as "The Life of the Party". Her favorite time of the day is recess, and since arriving she has discovered that her favorite food is cherry pie. We had her checked for asthma, and she now has an inhaler to assist her when she runs too much.
Ekenedilichukwu "Neddy" Is spending a year with a private tutor to help him catch up with children his own age in the English Language. He is thrilled about being in thrid grade with his peers next year. He has not only excelled in reading, but also has found that Math is easy for him as well. Last month he helped us pick out a car bed and truck wallpaper for his new bedroom. We also reguarly make trips to the communtiy pool where Ned would live if he could. He has also taken an interest in soccer and t-ball and is signed up to play both.
Abe and Miriam are also enrolled in preschool and have become fast friends with their entire class after they were fitted with hearing aids. They are very talkative and have easily picked up the language. Their art is amazing and they dominate the fridge with various fingerpaintings.
Liora has really bonded with all of her siblings. She and Miriam are practically inseperable when they are at home. She is enrolled in kindergarten and she loves learning. She also loves her teacher who frequently uses songs to teach the children. When she is at home she loves playing outside with Abena and the older boys, or she likes to draw with the young twins. She is extremely excited about gaining the lead in her scxhool's kindergarten performance where she gets to sing a solo.

Lukas Adam and Jakob Carl are newborn twins from Germany. Jakob is healthy, but Lukas has a mild heart defect that will need surgical correction when he is a bit older. They are strong and lively, and we think they will thrive in their new home.

Alex is adjusting well to his new environment and routine. He started at a school near by and loves our new TV. He will watch the public access channels for hours. Fred spends hours with Alex every day, and sometimes it seems like ALex is really enjoying it. Charlotte also sometimes reads to Alex in the mornings before school starts.
Isaac has already joined the track team for when he starts highschool, and he swims three days a week. He also plays basketball and soccer with the town travel prgrams. They both appear to be in good health except the fact that Yelena has a cleft lip and palate, which will need to be repaired by surgery when she gets a bit older.
