[Opinions] Re: Names I heard recently

Jacqueline is the usual way to achieve a daughter known as Jackie. But if you don't like it or can't spell it, no doubt Jackson might work. But it does come across as a very silly use of a male name for a female with a view to showing the middle finger to genderised names or to commemorating a distinguished or beloved family member. I wouldn't touch it for any reason: it would lead to a lifetime of explanations and misunderstandings, and the world is complicated enough already.
