I don't mind Shea as a girl's name. Jordi and Mattie are ok too, but I prefer the spelling Jordie instead of Jordi. The other first names are too boyish. Wisper Faith, Sunny Autumn, and Christian Faith are really nms.

I think that the huge majority of Americans would think that Mattie was basically a female name. I know I was very surprised to find out that the recently famous young poet Mattie Stepanek was a boy instead of a girl. Carson is well-known as a female name in the South and to literature professors because of the author Carson McCullers. I would definitely assume that Codi and Jordi, in those spellings, would be girls. Shea has been regularly used for both genders in the USA for years. I also would not assume that Josia and Josiah were pronounced the same way.

I like River (on either sex), Christian (on either sex), Emmett (on a girl), Carson (on a boy), Mattie (as a nickname on a girl for Mattea, perfer Matthew kept with out a nn), Mackenzie (on a boy), Josiah (on a boy, but it's not terrible on a girl!) and Grace.Growing up, I had a friend named Joni-Marie (prn. Johnny Marie.) She was named after her parents, John and Marie. Her sister was Cara-Lee.~Erin Lee, wife of Matthew James, mama to Sarah Patrice (11/29/04) and Dos (due sometime in late February or early March)~

I think those are decent and some are even cute .. not my style but they seem very modern and spunky and all that (I'm surprised at how easy to take Damon is as a female name) ...Except for Emmitt (it's ... gnomish? Froggish? very unattractive to me), Remington (razor brand name; pretentiousness. But she could be Remi so it's not irredeemable), and Josia if it's pronounced like Josiah.Still and all, I find the practice in general somewhat distasteful - In part because denies girls/women the opportunity to project themselves as female. As if they wouldn't want to, and wouldn't mind being taken for guys!? And yeah, I know you didn't ask.- mirfak

River Daniel - I don't really get that one. Is Daniel a name of a river?
Wisper Faith - Whisper would be ok, Faith is nms
Sunny Autumn - funny, very "cute", but a LOT better than many other names.
Christian Faith - not a fan of both names, together - well, just a simple: NO!Emmitt Eve - I dislike Emmitt on either sex, it sounds like emit.
Eli Nicole - ok, names are nms, but Eli is a common nn vor Elisa in Germany so not too bad
Carson Nicole - one word: -son means SON!
Codi Larke - very hard to guess sex from this name, I prefer Lark on a boy, so the name would be 100% male in my eyes if I read it.
McCamy Drew - see above, very "male". Drew being nn for Andrew and (most) surnames just say "surname" for me.0
Mattie Mckezenie - see above
Jordi Shyanne - names are nms, but Jordi could sound like a nn for Jordan
Josia Lilliyana [like Josiah] - ok, sounds a lot like Josi, so not too bad
Johnny-Mae [MN] - Actually not quite as bad...
Kevyn Alyse - HATE Kevin and loathe any other spelling of Alice except for said. And no, the y DOESN'T make it look more feminin...
Damon Bree - both names are unappealing, I would just read past it anyway...
Remington Grace - see the surname topic. Although Remington is a valid name - for a boy! (imo)
