[Opinions] Lula and Nelle
WDYT of them? They're both drawing me for their literary value as the dropped first names of some very cool writers--namely Lula Carson McCullers and Nelle Harper Lee. :DThoughts? ArrayETA: Speaking of dropped names, my great-grandma Hazel's second middle name was Luella (Hazel was her first, and Ingeborg was her given name--but she was called Hazel--too bad, as Ingeborg is really nice, too!), and it appeals to me on the same sort of level that Nelle and Lula do. WDYT of it?

Lula & Nelle are wonderfully musty names that need to be dusted off & treasured, imo. ;o) For some reason (I know this isn't your style at all) I keep thinking of the combo Lula Belle. And Nelle Blythe (too close to Nellie Blye?). I also really like Luella; same musty, but hidden-treasure feel to it, you know?Check Out Blinkyou.com for thousands of custom glitters and layouts

Lula is cute, although I like Lela a bit more (family name for me)And Nelle is lovely! I think I may actually like this spelling a tad more than Nell.Luella is cute too : )

I love Nelle but prefer it spelled Nell. Nell is on my top 5 list for girls. Lula is nice and not something you hear every day either. They're both very pretty.

Nelle is rather sweet, I like it. Harper Lee is an awesome namesake. :)I can't say I like Lula, maybe just because it's completely foreign to me (this is the first time I've encountered it). It might be nice in the right combo, but as itself, it's not one I care for.-- Sarah

I don't like Lola, either.I can't imagine how anyone finds the name feminine--but then, my first exposure to it was in the form of someone who "walks like a woman and talks like a man." I suppose everyone else just isn't as into The Kinks, lol. Thanks for your opinions. :)Array
