I think it's quite cute. I want to call our next cat Boris, regardless of it's sex. I see pets as an excellent opportunity to use any name you want. I think it would be rather amusing to see a big, butch tom called Annabelle or a little dainty female called Trevor, you know, an owner calls for 'Annabelle' and, instead of the little, white fluffball that you expect, a huge, obviously masculine, tabby comes in. It's a cat, it's not like he's going to get teased by the other moggies for being called Tabitha.I used to call our male cat (Smudge) Smegalina and it didn't bother him. *formulates plans to call her future cats Godzilla (f) and Princess (m)*
