I don't care for the spellings, but the names are fine. In Spanish, "J" sounds like an English "H." I imagine it's related to that.

The Js come from Eastern European languages like Latvian and Crotatian. They sound just like a Y: nah-TAHL-ee-yah and gah-bree-EHL-yah. I'm not sure what's up with Gabrielja, though. Are you sure it wasn't Gabrijela?
