Clodagh and she is fabulous. She is the most awesome, energetic and with it old woman you will ever meet. I also have two friends back in
Ireland with this name. The only reason I would never use it personally is that to me it is too common, just because I hear it all the time among my friends back in Tipperary and I grew up around lots of Clodaghs...but thats Tipperary where the name is like

Ashley, but has been that popular for centuries.
Anyway, back to the original question. I love the sound, love the spelling, adore the name and would be so excited to see it on a little girl not in
Ireland.
