The spelling of Arrah isn't too appealing to me, but I do really like Ara : )

I think it's an interesting one, but I don't like the spelling. Reminds me of my screenname and of my sister's name--she's a Sara.
One of my friends at school has a friend called Aara, pronunced AIR-uh (not sure if you mean the first syllable to rhyme with "care" or "car," but Aara's rhymes with "care"). I think that's prettier--on the one hand, it's a lot of A's, but on the other, it's obviously meant to sound like Aaron with an A at the end.
