It's cute I do like it but the first things that came to mind for me where Elephant, Leaflet and Alphabet. I do however think that this name is very cute for a sweet little girl, even though it is a boy's name.

Despite the elephant connection I think it is very nice. I like the sound of it, it doesn't sound like most Biblical names (which can sometimes hve a "grunty" sound to them) this almost has a French sound. I think it would make a very nice mn. Abnd if it wern't for elephants, I think it would make a great firts name.

It is kind of cute, if you think about it. But it also sounds kind of old-fashioned and Biblical (all unused Eli- names do, to me). Oh, and there's a Memorial Day song about a guy named Eliphelet with no character who dies in battle (I think he dies, at least).

Looks so much like elephant. Good lord, I hope the kids not even a tiny bit chubby.
