first, thanks for your comments on my post the other day (regarding
Hayley Rose)- and my taste in names which is classic like yours. I agree with you, I don't want my child being 1 of 5 in a class - my name is
Melissa and I was born in the 70s for goodness sakes! ;)
With that said, and I'm trying hard to take my own advice on this one, you can't really be _too_ crazed about the possibility of names booming because even if they don't, some other parent could have thought of the same thing and then whoops! Your child becomes one of several. A name you might pick now might boom because of sites like this catching on, or it might never boom except in your little world- that is always a chance you take. I try to steer clear of the top 100, and God forbid, the top 50 of the current year, but other than using stats and judging by people you know, anything can happen. So if you love it, use it! :)
