I think Scout is one of those nns a girl could just earn (like, imo, Ace & Jett for a boy) & it wouldn't have to relate to her real name. It's a cute for a young girl or even a teenager, but I can't see it working well for a woman. That's another reason I like it just as a random nn for any combo you want.
