Born in 1962,I was named after the movie character "Tammy" played by Debbie Reynolds. There were Tammy dolls similar to the modern day Barbies and books with a cardboard figure with interchangable paper clothes. I have never come across a blonde Tammy. All have been brunette and even ginger.
