I suddenly adore the name Lucy. I used to think it was kind of shy and whiny sounding, but now I have a different look at it, meeting several Lucies, some kids, adorable babies, ect, and I find that it fits a lot of personalities. I really like it now :)

And I can't for the life of me come up with a nice mn. I like Lucy Jane, as it honors a few of my family members, but it seems a little plain. I also like Lucy Ginger...

Lucy is adorable...but a little too adorable for me. I adore it as a nickname for Lucia (loo-SEE-ah), Luciana (loo-see-AH-nah), Lucienne or Lucienna, though.

I think that Lucy is a nice name! Combos that I like include Lucy Amelia and Lucy Claire (and I don't think that Lucy Jane is too plain).

My sister is Lucy Elizabeth, but I know Elizabeth is kind of a filler mn. I think Lucy Jane is lovely. I also like:

I prefer Lucille with Lucy as a nickname. On its own, I think Lucy is much too baby-ish sounding - very immature and it would not age well at all. I can see a five-year-old Lucy in kindergarten, but not a 25-year-old Lucy getting a job. Lucille is perfect, I think.

Lucille Jane is very nice, and I'd also suggest Lucille Katherine. As for Lucy, Lucy Jane is OK, and I'd suggest Lucy Nadine.

I like it. It's the name of both my best friend (Lucy Ann) and my niece (Lucy Alice). The only problem is, it's ridiculously popular right now (hasn't been out of the UK top ten for the last 6 years or so). I also like Lucy Rose and Lucy Frances.

Not a Ginger fan. It's kind of spunky, but I think of Ginger Spice from the Spice Girls, and I think they are way too weird. Aswell, one of the Duggar children was named Jinger and I don't like that at all.

What about Lucy Poppy? Lucy Saffron? Lucy Sage? Lucy Cinnamon - there's a cute book out there about a little gypsy princess named Cinnamon.
