What do you think of the name Ilamay. I really like that name Ila (eye-la).

Seeing llamay typed out, it looks like the word "llama" (two L's) with a "y" at the end. :-/ I'm partial to Isla, of course, and I agree with Mar and Soul that Isla May would be nicer.

If I would hear IE-la, I'd expect it to be written Ayla (which I love) and my second guess would be Isla (Which is also nice). I don't like the spelling Ila. I don't really like the look any names that start with il-, because it looks weird in print. Ilamay sounds nice, I would spell it something like Ayla May though, or Isla Mae like Soul said.

Sounds like Isla Mae (which would be gorgeous, BTW). Ila is nice, but I don't really like Ilamay.
